Dr. Kovar is interested in all areas of small animal practice, and especially enjoys surgery, pediatrics, and emergency medicine.

Dr. Smith enjoys challenging medical cases, and guiding her clients through the diagnostic process. She also likes developing a bond with her clients and patients from their juvenile years through advancing age and geriatric care.

Dr. Hsu enjoys the diversity of small animal medicine, including soft tissue surgery, unique medical cases, and challenging diagnoses.

As the newest addition to the Bothell Pet Hospital doctor team, Dr. Keiper brings a passion for preventative care, pain management, and dermatology.

Laura Hoyt


Laura Began her veterinary career at Bothell Pet Hospital in 1986 then bought Quincy Veterinary Clinic in eastern Washington in 1994. She practiced both large and small animal veterinary medicine for 24 years before returning to Bothell in 2017.

William “Bill” Cleveland


After receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 1985, Dr. Bill Cleveland's first job was working in an all large animal practice in Idaho.
