Veterinary Assistant
With more than 14 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Blythe started with us in 2023. Bringing her proven leadership, operational skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, we are so thankful to have Blythe on the Bothell Pet Hospital team!
Spending her first four years after college working as a Unit Controller at the Improv Comedy Club, Blythe’s true passion for animal welfare rerouted her career to veterinary medicine in 2012. Blythe spent 9 years working at the Parktown Veterinary Clinic in Milpitas, Calif., starting as a Veterinary Technician and then promoted to Assistant Practice Manager in 2018. In 2021 Blythe relocated to Bellevue, Wash., taking on Lead Assistant and Surgical Tech and then Practice Manager in 2022 at Wagly Veterinary Hospital & Pet Campus. These positions cultivated Blythe’s vast knowledge in patient and customer care, surgical procedures, and leadership—recruiting, training, and supervising staff.
“Becoming a vet tech has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life,” Blythe shared. “Being able to educate the community on the importance of pet health is so important to me and strengthens my inspiration.”
Blythe is dedicated to problem-solving through inclusive and collaborative teamwork. The patient’s well-being and the client’s concerns are always her priority, making her an excellent listener, delegator, and deliverer in the process of finding a solution to challenging situations.

Home Life
Blythe is a mother to three children, an 8-year-old daughter, and 4-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). Her family also consists of four furry friends—three cats named Piper, Whiskey, and Bear; and an adorable, 5-year-old rescued Chi-Pom named Livia. In her free time, Blythe enjoys hiking, walking, and playing at the lake.
