Rachel Eulau
DVM
Dr. Rachel Eulau joined Bothell Pet Hospital in 2022 following the completion of her doctorate from Washington State University (WSU), College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to finalizing her studies, Dr. Eulau spent time with our team as a preceptor where she had the opportunity to work alongside our experienced veterinarians; refining her skills for the future and preparing herself for a career in veterinary general practice.
Dr. Eulau also has a love for language being fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian. While at WSU, Dr. Eulau was able to take this love of language and design and implement a communication simulation lab centered on language barriers for WSU College of Veterinary Medicine’s Veterinarians as One for an Inclusive Community for Empowerment (Vetvoice) chapter.
“My hope with the lab was to help folks gain communication skills and confidence to work with clients with limited English proficiency,” shared Dr. Eulau.
Education
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University
Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, Duke University, Durham, North Carolina
Home Life
Dr. Eulau shares her home with her wife, a rambunctious Australian Shepherd and a hedgehog. While at WSU, Dr. Eulau enjoyed playing ultimate frisbee where she helped lead her team of veterinarians to the 2019 WSU intramurals championships. Hopefully, after settling in her new home in the Pacific Northwest, she will get to dive back into the sport she loves.
