Kat
Veterinary Assistant
Kat joined the Bothell Pet Hospital team in 2022 bringing with her years of experience in the veterinary field. Now as a veterinary assistant, Kat is applying the skills she has learned along the way while she takes on new challenges while pursuing her licensed veterinary technician degree through Penn Foster College.
Prior to joining Bothell Pet Hospital, Kat worked at a handful of Western Washington veterinary practices where she gained her proficiency as a surgical assistant and in overall patient care. She was also able to use her talents supporting the work of the beloved Washington nonprofit, Old Dog Haven.
“Since the age of 13, I have always known that I wanted to care for animals,” shared Kat. “It is something I am so passionate about that I honestly cannot see myself ever doing anything else.”
Continued Kat, “Now, having spent time in the field, I am so excited to continue to learn new skills and approaches to veterinary medicine from this amazing team and eventually take these skills and specialize in dental care.
