Vivien
Veterinary Assistant
Vivien has spent her life caring for animals. When she joined the Bothell Pet Hospital team in 2022, she brought with her years of hands-on experience through her volunteer work with the Veterinary Community Enterprise and various equine facilities and rescues. She also acquired invaluable experience volunteering for a local avian and exotic veterinary hospital and working as a canine specialist at a local pet resort.
“My passion for veterinary medicine grew from my early experiences in my formative years,” shared Vivien. “I had spent my life caring for animals, but when my Welsh Terrier was diagnosesd with claucome and pancreatic health issues towards the end of his life I got to see first-hand how veterinary teams can make a big difference in a pet’s quality of life. This is when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian.”

Volunteer Work
Vivien spent several quarters in 2022 volunteering with the Veterinary Community Service Enterprise (ASCI 490) at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California. In this unique outreach program, the students along with a practicing veterinarian provide free animal healthcare to unhoused communities. Prior to this university-level experience, Vivien volunteered her time at local exotic veterinary hospitals as well as equine rescue organizations and facilities.
Home Life
Vivien’s home is filled with so much activity due to her rambunctious sister Labradoodles, Bailey and Cassie and their friend, Fish, a Betta Fish. In Vivien’s spare time, she enjoys working and training with her dogs, heading to the beach, horseback riding and other outdoor adventures while in the quiet moments she is happy to spend time painting with her mom.
