Felicia

Felicia joined our team as a Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician in January 2026, bringing a strong and versatile background in veterinary medicine and a kind, compassionate approach. She says that veterinary medicine found her “by accident,” but her extensive experience and knowledge show it may have more to do with fate.

Felicia’s career began in 2011 in Idaho at a small-animal practice before she transferred to overnight emergency care. She became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2015, and three years later, she moved to Chewelah, Washington, where she worked in general and emergency medicine at a mixed animal practice. In 2021, she took a position at a veterinary diagnostic laboratory where she continued to expand her skill set. 

As she grew her skills, Felicia’s passion in the field grew too. Her love for science, enthusiasm for nature, and empathy for animals made her a natural fit for veterinary medicine, a career that advocates for all of the above. Today, her vast experience and empathetic nature make her a trusted advocate for every patient who enters our doors. She has a deep, protective instinct for those who cannot speak for themselves, and she sees her role as a way to stand up for both pets and the people who love them. 

Guided by curiosity and a genuine desire to learn, Felicia is always looking for ways to grow and to help others do the same. “Ultimately, I want to be a safe place to help our future Veterinary professionals learn and grow,” she shared. She approaches her work with respect and gratitude for her team. In such a fast-paced and emotional environment, she believes collaboration is vital and describes her team as “the people I simply couldn’t work without.”

Felicia is delighted to work alongside other professionals who share her values of excellent medical care and superior teamwork. Her expertise, compassion, and steady leadership are wonderful additions to our practice.

Volunteer Work

Felicia is dedicated to animal welfare beyond her role at Bothell Pet Hospital and volunteers her time and expertise at vaccine clinics, spay and neuter clinics, and parks and recreation clean-up initiatives. She is also a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation. 

Home Life

When she’s not working or volunteering, Felicia can be found reading, hiking, traveling, or playing Dungeons and Dragons. She is also an avid gardener. She has five pets total, but during kitten season, she often fosters litters who are still feeding from baby bottles. She has two dogs: Sir Muddly, the demanding Yorkie, and Avery Jean, a sweet mixed breed. Her three cats, Hansel Lou, Peanut, and Cheeto Puff, rule the household.
